  1.               A.S.S. EXTENDED WARRANTY GUARANTEE

  3. Asynchronous Software Systems (hereinafter referred to as ASS) guarantees that
  4. the media is readable with a Genuine ibm computer at the time of purchase.
  5. Should a disk be defective, unreadable or mislabeled, simply return it to ASS
  6. within 10 days, along with a copy of your invoice and a $5 handling fee, and
  7. ASS will repair or replace it at our option.
  8.  
  9. In addition, ASS warrants that the software is adequately described in our
  10. catalog.  Should you determine that you have been misled, ASS will exchange
  11. your copying fee for an updated catalog description.
  12.  
  13. In addition, ASS warrants that the software will run on the hardware as
  14. described in the catalog description.  Should you determine that the software
  15. is incompatible with your hardware, ASS will exchange your copying fee for a
  16. description of your hardware and the symptoms of the incompatibility.
  17.  
  18. To take advantage of these additional warranties, you must:
  19.  
  20. 1) be a registered shareware reviewer for ASS on the enclosed form
  21.  
  22. 2) request, at the time of ordering, the extended warranty option by appending
  23. the symbol "X" to our catalog number
  24.  
  25. 3) request, within 30 days of our invoice, a refund, and return the defective
  26. software, Attn: G. Smoke, Quality Assurance Enginear
  27.  
  28. 4) enclose a catalog description update of not less than ½KB and not more than
  29. 2KB
  30.  
  31. 5) return a quick evaluation of the disk if you like it, not less than 79 bytes
  32. and not more than 2KB.
  33.  
  34. In addition, some authors warrant that you will find their software to perform
  35. to your liking.  Such authors will exchange your copying fee for an explanation
  36. of the faults of their software.  Such software is identified in our catalog by
  37. the symbol "Ag" (Author guarantee, silver) in the description.
